Robin was having a horrible day; she felt it couldn’t get much worse. She had been under so much stress lately with her job. Taking her lunch outside she sat on the bench over looking a small pond. Maybe, just taking in the scenery would help her relax. The warmth of the sun felt good, she closed her eyes for a moment to soak it all in. Robin felt someone sit down next to her; opening her eyes it was her co-worker Jake.
“Mind if I sit here?”
Actually, Robin did, but it was a public place. “Yes, that’s fine.”
Robin unzipped her lunch carrier. Robert had packed her a fruit salad and a turkey sandwich. She opened her ice tea. Jake took out a pack of cigarettes and lit one. At first, she was appalled that he would just light up without asking, after all, she was trying to eat. She had smoked socially back in her twenties, but had long since quit.
“May I have one?”
“Sure… I didn’t know you smoked.”
Robin couldn’t believe she had even asked such a thing. “I don’t, but today it seems like a good idea.” Jake laughed and handed her a cigarette and lighter. Robin was so nervous she wasn’t paying attention to which end she was lighting. When the filter caught fire she blew it out quickly. Jake could barely contain the laughter.
“Here let me help you.” He handed her another one and leaned over to light it for her. Robin knew her face probably matched the cherry on the end of the cigarette. At first, she was enjoying her spontaneity, but as she continued to smoke she began to get very light-headed. She didn’t remember this ever happening when she was younger. Robin didn’t want to be rude by putting it out, so she did her best finish it. Now though, she was getting queasy on top of the dizziness she was feeling.
Jake was trying to engross her in conversation and she just wanted him to leave. Robin felt a hand on her shoulder and it gripped down hard. Turning around quickly her boyfriend, Robert, standing behind her. The look on his face made her want to melt into the park bench. Jake took that as his queue to leave. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?”
Robin dropped the cigarette and put it out quickly with her shoe. “Nothing.” She stammered out, as if he didn’t see.
“Since when do you smoke young lady?” Robin hated when he referred to her like that, she always knew she was in trouble. Robert was ten years her senior, but age had never really been an issue for them.
“I don’t… I just did it on impulse. I feel rather dizzy and sick.”
“Good! I don’t think it’s going to help you any though.” Robin knew exactly what he meant. Robert lived with old-fashioned values. He had no problem turning an errant female over his knee if she misbehaved. She swallowed hard.
“We will deal with this when you get home this evening.”
“Yes, sir.”
Robert turned and walked away. Robin felt bad making such a horrible choice. She had to eat quickly and return to work. This would be the first time she hoped time would stand still.
When she walked in the front door, Robert was sitting on the couch waiting for her. The belt was lying on the coffee table. She began to tear up, but knew tears wouldn’t stop him from following through. In fact, he encouraged them. He only used his belt when it was going to be a severe session.
“Come over here young lady.”
Robin walked slowly with her head down. She couldn’t even look him in the eyes. She felt so ashamed. She stood before him breathing in deeply before she spoke.
“I am so sorry sir. It was a bad decision on my part… I wasn’t thinking.”
“No, you weren’t young lady. We have had multiple conversations about bad choices.”
He reached around her back to unzip her skirt while pulling it down. Hooking his fingers in her panties, he pulled them down having her step out of both. She hated standing half naked, it was different if it was in a sexual nature, but when it was discipline, she felt so vulnerable. She should be grateful he wasn’t making her strip completely. Gripping her arm firmly he guided her over his lap. The swats came hard and fast. Robin clenched her fists while trying not to squirm too much. “Unclench your fists, Robin!” He showed no mercy as he spanked the tender sit spot and upper thighs.
“I am so sorry! I won’t do it again!” Robert heard her, but refused to let her pleas detour him from the task at hand. When her backside and thighs had taken on a solid red hue he allowed her to stand.
“I want you to lean over the couch.”
“Please sir, I have learned my lesson.” She pleaded.
He just pointed at the arm of the couch. She knew better than to argue it would only be worse. Slowly she bent over with her hands flat in front of her. He didn’t like when she balled her fists. He felt that she was not accepting the spanking.
SMAACCK! The first impact of the belt made her stand straight up, only to be followed with another to her thighs for getting out of position. She quickly leaned back over.
Smack! Smack! Smack! He was brought them repetitively and with a force she could hardly catch her breath. Robert did not enjoy going so harsh on her, but he wanted to make an impact so she would never chose something so unwise again.
Smack! Smack! Smack! Robin began to let her body give into the pain, not fight, that is when he stopped. Her turned her around taking her into his arms.
“I am so sorry.” she whispered.
“It’s okay now, you are forgiven.”
He led her to the couch and motioned her onto his lap. She curled up, burying her head in his shoulders and cried. With his arms around her, he rocked slowly, reassuring her all was forgiven. Even though the punishment was hard, she always felt safe and loved in the protection of his arms.
Surely, you think Robin would have learned her lesson, but deep down she liked the high she got in that moment of disobedience. That edge of fear that comes from something you know is wrong, but at the same time, the exhilaration of doing something you might get away with. A mischievous smile crossed her face.
